About Us

Art Restoration & Conservation in Skowhegan, Maine

Watching Point brings public art to Skowhegan and helps take care of it once it's here. We work to fill our streets, riverbanks, and shared spaces with art that people want to stop and look at, and to keep the landmarks we already love in good shape. The goal is simple. A town where art and the landscape around us give people a reason to gather, and a reason to stay.

Watching Point exists to enrich the lives of Skowhegan residents and visitors through public art. We cultivate new work, care for the artistic landmarks that already define our town, and promote Skowhegan as a place worth visiting for its culture. Art and the natural landscape around us can bring people together, and we want that connection to be part of everyday life here.
